The IKO is a global competition designed to foster academic excellence and creativity among students. It challenges students in two core subjects: Mathematics and English, spanning grades 3 to 12. The competition aims to nurture critical thinking, collaboration, and innovation, offering pathways to scholarships, internships, and global recognition.

The Preliminary Round of IKO 2025 is officially scheduled to take place from May 1st to July 1st, 2025. However, the exact dates may vary depending on the local coordinator's schedule in each region or country. Participants are encouraged to check with their school or local IKO representative for the confirmed dates in their area.

IKO honors top-performing students with international recognition and awards:

  • 🥇 International Gold Medal & Certificate – awarded to the top 8% of participants
  • 🥈 International Silver Medal & Certificate – awarded to the next 10% of participants
  • 🥉 International Bronze Medal & Certificate – awarded to the following 12% of participants
  • 🎓 Certificate of Participation – presented to all participants as recognition of their effort and involvement
